Tariff Plan Switching

Viva prepaid subscribers have an option to switch from one prepaid tariff plan to another without changing one’s phone number. Switching to another tariff plan is fast and easy, and can be done:

• By dialing the respective code from the mobile phone and pressing the call button,
• Via the portal “Internet Assistant”,
• By calling 111 and following the instructions,
• Via “My Viva” mobile app by downloading it from Play Store or App Store.

"Tariff Plan Switching" is possible maximum 10 times per month.

To view your current tariff plan, dial *131*001#.

“Fast” service 

The “Fast” service allows subscribers of the “Viva 2700”, “Viva 3500”, “Y”, and “UNLIM” postpaid tariff plans to initiate switching to a larger option of the “X”, “Y” and “UNLIM” postpaid tariff plan via the mobile phone without visiting a service center. The subscribers of the postpaid “Viva 5500” tariff plan can use the service to switch to “X” postpaid tariff plan.

To use this opportunity, one simply needs to apply for the switch of the tariff plan, by dialing *198# from the mobile phone and, entering the USSD menu, choose the corresponding option, or via “My Viva” mobile application which can be downloaded both from Play Store and App Store.

By the way, you can also initiate the switch directly by sending the command of the preferable option:

After submitting the application your phone number is included in the corresponding list.

And in case the switching process is successfully completed, the switch to the “X”, “Y” or “UNLIM” tariff plans is done on the last day of the current month.

The service is provided free of charge.

To terminate the application, one should simply enter the *198# menu and choose the termination command or simply send *198*0#.

Notes

• In case of tariff plan switching, the credit limit, debt amount and all other account terms are maintained.
• The application to change the tariff plan shall be submitted till the last day of the current month, by 16:00.
• The switching can be terminated till 17:00 of the last day of the current month.
• Only subscribers in active status and without a guarantee deposit can use this service.
• The “Fast” service is not available to subscribers using the mobile identification (“Mobile ID”) service. To switch to a different tariff plan, the subscriber needs to visit service center.
