Managing the bank card from the mobile phone

The service is designed for Viva subscribers who use MasterCard, ArCa and Visa cards issued by “Armenian Card” payment system.
By linking their mobile phone number to the bank card account number in the respective bank, the subscriber gets an opportunity to implement a number of operations through USSD commands, in particular:

  • check the balance of the bank card,
  • receive a statement of the latest 4-5 transactions,
  • block the card, if necessary.

To use the service, one needs to enter the USSD menu from the mobile phone by sending *116#, and follow the commands.
By the way, the service rendered by Viva is free of charge and is available also in roaming. Charges may apply for services provided by the bank.
