Internet Configuration for Computer via USB Cable

Configuration is described for Windows XP operating system

1. Connect your phone to PC via USB cable

2. Wait until a window with the message Your new hardware is installed and ready to use appears

3. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel
 
4. Open Phone and modem options and choose Modems tab

5. Choose the modem corresponding to the model of your mobile phone and click Properties

6. Choose the Advanced tab, enter AT+CGDCONT=1,”IP”,”inet.vivacell.am” and click OK
 
7. Again click OK

8. Click Start > Settings > Network connections

9. Select Create a new connection

10. In the New connection wizard click Next

11. Check Connect to the Internet and click Next

12. Check Set up my connection manually and click Next

13. Check Connect using a dial-up modem and click Next

14. Enter Viva in the ISP name field and click Next

15. Enter *99# in the Phone number field and click Next

16. Check Anyone’s use and click Next

17. Uncheck all boxes and click Next

18. Check Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop and click Finish

19. Right-click Viva connection icon in the Network connections window and select Properties

20. Make sure that in Connect using field only the modem corresponding to the model of your handset is checked and click OK

21. To connect to the Internet open Viva connection on the desktop and click Dial
