Configuration is described for Windows XP operating system
1. Turn on Infrared on your phone and computer
2. Locate the phone so that the two Infrared devices face each other
3. Click Next in the Found a new device window
4. Click Finish
5. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel
6. Open Phone and modem options and choose Modems tab
7. Choose Standard modem over IR link and click Properties
8. Choose the Advanced tab, enter AT+CGDCONT=1,”IP”,”inet.vivacell.am” and click OK
9. Again click OK
10. Click Start > Settings > Network connections
11. Select Create a new connection
12. In the New connection wizard click Next
13. Check the Connect to the Internet box and click Next
14. Check the Set up my connection manually box and click Next
15. Check the Connect using a dial-up modem box and click Next
16. Select Standard modem over IR link and click Next
17. In the ISP name field enter Viva and click Next
18. In the Phone number field enter *99# and click Next
19. Check the Anyone’s use box and click Next
20. Uncheck all boxes and click Next
21. Check the Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop box and click Finish
22. To connect to the Internet click Dial
To connect to the Internet in future:
• Turn on Infrared on your phone and computer
• Open Viva connection on the desktop and click Dial
