JOB DESCRIPTION: The Network Engineer is responsible for implementing, monitoring and managing the local and wide area networks. He/she should offer support to users, who can be staff, clients, customers and suppliers, and troubleshoot any problems that arise.

The Network Engineer’s aim is to ensure the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to provide maximum performance for the users.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, configure and support network equipment including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Work with variety of network types: LAN, WAN, WLAN.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and application related issues.
• Ensure the reliability of network systems and monitor network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Administration of systems and servers related to the network including network monitoring servers.
• Work closely with the users of the network in order to identify potential issues and fix existing problems.
• Prepare network and application systems documentations.

   

  Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant sphere;
• 2 years of Industry-related experience in Network Engineering.
• Professional certification or equivalent knowledge (minimum CCNA level, CCNP level is a plus).
• Good understanding of routing and switching protocols
• Good understanding and experience in Network Security (VPNs).
• Good knowledge of the network operating systems (IOS, Cisco).
• Basic knowledge of programming, scripting.
• Knowledge and experience with monitoring systems is a plus.
• Teamwork spirit;
• Ability to learn new or unfamiliar technologies quickly;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills and sharp troubleshooting skills;
• Good communication skills.

Job description: The Mediation Specialist is responsible for setup, checking and backup of all mediation and provisioning network nodes.

Job responsibilities

• Monitor the mediation servers;
• Create new or change old configuration according to billing requirements;
• Perform full testing of the new created configurations;
• Monitor the mediation server on daily basis, check the logs, system mails, alarm and error messages, and etc.;
• Add new services needed for billing and reporting systems;
• Monitor the provisioning servers;
• Create new or change old configuration according to billing or core staff requirements;
• Perform full testing of the new created configuration;
• Monitor the application on daily basis, check the logs, system mails, error messages, and etc.
• Ensure documentation of application configuration and procedures:

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or information technology;
• 1 to 2 years of work experience as a mediation engineer in the telecom industry.
• 1 to 2 years of work experience in software development;
• Good knowledge of Linux system administration and shell scripting;
• Good programming language and scripting;
• Good knowledge of IP networking and firewalls;
• Good knowledge of operating system optimizations and fine tuning;
• Good knowledge of billing and CDR (Call Detail Record) formats;
• Ability to organize and manage multiple assignments within critical deadlines;
• Ability to effectively manage change;
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with internal and external contacts.
• Good knowledge of Armenian, English and Russian languages;

JOB DESCRIPTION: Information Security  Specialist is  responsible for all ongoing activities that serve to provide appropriate access to and protect the confidentiality and integrity of Company, employee and other business information in compliance with law, regulations, policies and standards for one or more assigned systems in Viva Armenia․

He/She is also responsible for participation in audit engagements in the framework of subjects approved in the annual audit plan and non-planned investigations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in the works in the framework of planned and non-planned audit engagements;
• Participate in the works of preparation of corrective action plans as a result of audit projects;
• Follow up the implementation of agreed corrective action plans and submit periodical reports on their status;
• Provide consultation within the framework of implementation of improvement works by respective subdivisions, based on available knowledge and experience.
• Monitor the internal control systems to ensure that appropriate access levels are maintained;
• Perform risk assessment tasks and risk management planning related to the information security features of systems;
• Generate various security incident reports;
• Maintain and administer security tools;
• Provide periodic reporting on information security issues to the IT Audit UM;
• Maintain the SIEM (Security Information Event Management) application device nodes;
• Perform SIEM audit log management, analysis and reporting;
• Monitor and maintain the access rights of the Company employee;
• Ensure all new requests are compliant to the approved policies and standards․

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in relevant sphere;
• At least 1 year work experience as systems administrator or information security senior specialist;
• Knowledge of Windows and Unix systems.
• Knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL and My SQL are preferred;
• Knowledge of security concepts, protocols, processes, architectures, and tools (authentication and access control technologies, intrusion detection, network traffic analysis, incident handling, media/malware analysis, etc.);
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 compliance and best practices;
• Good knowledge of International standards for the professional practice of IT auditing;
• Good knowledge in Armenian, Russian and English languages;
• Good knowledge of Information Security products such as PKI, VPN, firewalls and intrusion detection systems;
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills;
• Time management skills;
• Analytical skills.
